I will be bringing my Eldar, so if your opponent does not show I will either pair you up with each other or play you myself.

Round 3 is to be played on November 6th. Players without a round 2 score will be awarded a nominal score based on weeks attended and free for their game. Unless anyone can think of something fairer.

In which case I suggest that, rather than getting a bye, they play you.

Then there are no complaints of 'free' points, they have a good chance of taking something (if they use their heads) and you get to have a say in the course of the trophy.

how does this leave mine and mike's game for the fantasy KK? as i know Andy has already been crown winner but i would not want to effect someone having the pleasure of the wooden spoon as i dont think i have earned it this year having only finished one game! but with both mike and myself having other commitments it could make playing the game difficult!

How long before 3rd round match ups are sorted?

This Thursday is the last week people can play their round 2 games.

The round 3 draw will be revealed (it is swiss system so no draw is required) when I have all the scores in and have totted them up. So a paper copy may go up on the notice board towards the end of Thursday's meeting. If not, it will go online on Friday.

Note on byes. Those outstanding games must be played. If not I will award you a 10 points if you have attended over the two weeks the game was allocated and your opponent has not. If you have not attended the club in that period you score 0 points. If both you and your opponent have been at the club and not played, you score 7 each.

To score more than that you need to play in the pick games on Thursday, all players will have the opportunity to play either another pick up player or me. Alternatively, arrange a game at another venue and have the score to me before Thursday.

cheers pete! i'll bring an army on thursday but i may be a little late i dont mind if you tailor your list as i'm not definite if i will bring demons! i may bring mortals or skaven or even the empire! i've not decided yet!
