I will have a rules pack for the WFB carnage cup, after getting permission from Steve and Anna to run it.
Basically 2000 points no special or named characters, 3 games. First 2 random, 3rd Swiss.
Both of the first games will be posted, you will have 4 weeks to play them.
The final night will be swiss system.
Scoring for games and painting will be the WPS method, for those familiar with it.
Need to check with everyone about the dates, should be mid July/August start depending on interest.
Cheers,
Pete

With a four week period, it should most holidays.
The only problem could be people at uni going back home, but I doubt there are many of them.
Anyways, it is all good by me.

I was hoping to play using my Dwarfs but as they are majority unpainted and for once I'm not rushing them cos I'm enjoyibng painting them what's the point in playing as DE in Tournament (with vast proof) are uncompetative
Oh Well

Can we change lists for each game? If not, why not?

No, because you know your opponent for the rounds and I'd prefer all comers lists.
Andy, I'll enter with Dark Elves if you will. We can make them competative.
Cheers,
Pete

I've never done a tournament that doesn't use all comers.
If we have 10 entrants, I don't want to be checking 30 lists. (After the event of course) So logistically it is easier. I also could do without checking that all the models in all the lists are painted.
Tailored lists can exagerate the growing 'rock, paper, scissors' feel of certain armies. Although the all comers favours certain armies too (Demons, Wood Elves, Brets, VCs to name a few) and can be hit by the one trick pony armies I still think that it is a fairer way of doing it.
If we let people change lists, do we also let them change armies?
Thinking about it, that might be fun! Worth considering?

I would say no. For some, smaller system, tournaments, that may be worth while, but as stated earlier, it is a lot of work for the organiser.
