Here's a task for anybody with space marines of any description. Look in your codex and find the part stating the "and they shall know no fear" special rule. You'll find that it references the rulebook for the Universal special rule of the same name.

Now, those of you with a 5th ed rule book, turn the Universal Special Rules section of the rule book (P74-76) and find the USR "and they shall know no fear".............................................what? Can't find it? It has to be its referenced! But there's no details given in codex's, it must be a mistake and covered in the new Errata's and FAQ's!................Not there either!

Looks like ALL marines no longer have the ability to auto rally! When a squad is below 50% and have run away with their bowels in their boots, they keep on running!

I have just gone through all the FAQ's and Errata for the 5th Edition and none of them say what to do about it. In each errata, where a rule is no longer in use, its simply states that the rule is no longer relevant!

hehe!

Oh hang on a minute, what about my Dark Angels! DOH!

Oh well, at least the Vanhilla Marines will get it back whent he new Dex arrives in september.....lol

But if you check the description below ATSKNF, it does tell you beasically what to do, so not all is lost.

Personally I think it is a stupid rule. And I also think fearless should be used more sparingly.

I stand corrected! My Dark Angels Codex has the rules written out in full with no reference to the rule book! And the updated Blood Angels codex has them written in full. (BTW the BA codex also has the combat squads written in as well)

I dont have any others though. So i may still be slightly right. Confused
