I've just created a list for Eldar and it's just dawned on me that it's quite interesting.
Acording to the History of 40,000 Eldar created Slaanesh due to their self indulgence and hedonism (darn an ism.....drat), now Slaanesh's sacred number is 6 so with that in mind how spooky is this:-
1,500pts Eldar
HQ
1 Farseer
5 Warlocks
(6 Models....ooh er)
Troops
5 Dire Avengers
1 Dire Avenger Exarch
(6 Models.....crikey)
5 Dire Avengers
1 Dire Avenger Exarch
(6 Models.....blimey)
Elites
5 Fire Dragons
1 Fire Dragon Exarch
(6 Models.....crumbs)
5 Fire Dragons
1 Fire Dragon Exarch
(6 Models.....do do do do do do do do)
o.k. yes there are also 2 Wave Serpents (For the Dire Avengers) and 3 Falcons (for the Fire Dragons and Farseer & Warlocks)
but it's just so creepy I'm sure I could make it 6 Units, with 6 vehicles with 2,000pts _________________ Andy Dodd

I'd give the dragons the Wave Serpents and the Avengers the Falcons.
The theme is a nice one, with some good opportunities for conversion and interesting paint jobs. I can envisage some Wave Serpents looking like dragons.
These could be Eldar at the time of the fall caught in a temporal vortex and deposited in present day.
And it might even do well on the battlefield.

I already have the modles for it, I was making the list round what I had.
Can I ask your reasons why the switch with the Wave Serpents and Falcons
I've found that the Falcons they are very resilient at not getting shot down so the Fire Dragons go in them to get up close to enemy tanks. _________________ Andy Dodd

I like the idea behind it andy, like Periculosus states it gives you plenty of opportunity for conversion! I would have to agree with you with the falcons, with the engine upgrades you can get any of your models where ever you need them on the field with minimum on turns! Falcons may be sturdier but with the amount of models you have in this army you seriously need to get them where needed, so serpents are the way to go! I think anyway! _________________ The Original Hyperactive Peep

The dragons are wanting to be deployed at close range. The Wave Serpents are better at that role than the Falcons, who prefer to hop cover and use long range weapons from long range. The Avengers, if mounted aboard, can be used to attack approaching troops or claiming objectives in the latter stages of the game.

Nice list, i like it. Although one piece of handy advice, and i think this is a kinda open secret, there are rumours of a 5th ED 40K later this year, or a "redux", and rumour has it that the rules for Eldar vehicles wil be changed.......not that i listen to gossip or rumour !! but untill then the Eldar vehicles are almost impossible to destroy, so use them while you can !!!

IF the Eldar Vehicles are going to be changed, why have I been informed that ALL Codexes will be useable with the 5th ed rules when they come out, untill then I will stick with the above List idea for a bit of difference away from Hunting Fallen

The army lists and points will not change when the new 5th edition is released but the way they work will!
Units blocking line of sight including Skimmers, Single damage chart for Vehicles, negative modifiers to combat resolution, being able to "Run" in the shooting phase but you then cannot assault, transports maust deploy with thier assigned unit but from then on can carry anyone. etc...
All these things will change the game balance.....only time will tell what does get released in the new rules and what does not! _________________ hehehe
