So, if there is anyone out there who I have not spoke to about my Orkses, then be aware, there is a new threat on the horizon. My vision, once rose tinted, is turning green.

Fresh from painting more Dark Eldar, my Orks are a breath of fresh air. No deadline, no rigid guidelines, lots of fun converting (which in my opinion is the best part of the hobby).

I have decided to go with Blood Axes, as they are full of character and not typical Orks. I had a go at painting camoflague, but it didn't really work, so only the Kommandos will get camo. They will also be very shooty, another un-typical orky trait.

So anyways, a run down of the current list.

Warboss in Mega Armour with attack squig.

I am planning on scratch building him, to make him bigger than the rest of the army. The attack squig I see being sat on his shoulder like a parrot, or like Huron's Hamadrya.

Big Mek with Shokk Attak Gun

It is such a fantastic model, I just had to have it, and he allows me a Dread as a troops choice.

2 units of 9 Kommandos.

Gonna convert plastic ones to resemble the classic Kommandos.

10 Lootas.

Just a lot of firepower, and at str 7, they even stand a chance of taking down light vehicles.

3 units of 20 boyz, nob, shootas, 2 big shootas.

Big units of firepower.

30 Grots and 3 slavers with electro prods.

Capable of taking down monstrous creatures.

Deff Dread, 3 Dread weapons and skorcha.

There to support the boyz.

2 Skorchas.

Fast moving, no rolling to hit shooty units.

2 buggies with twin rokkits.

Try and get the side armour of big tanks.

2 Deff Koptas with Big Bombs

Saw an army at Open War using Tau Piranhas as Deff Koptas, and I thought, 'Wow, gotta have me some of those'. Gonna stick rotors on top, sort of Russian Hind look.

2 Looted Trukss with Boomguns.

Light tanks with big guns. Very Blood Axey.

Battlewagon with Killkannon.
Another big tank with big gun.

So, here are a few piccies of stuff I have got done. I wouldn't expect this being updated very often, as I am painting when I feel like it, so I enjoy painting this rather than any time constraints

Bloodaxes with Shokk Attack Gun, Lootas, Grots?
What is the world coming to?
Sounds more like a complete mix of all bar Goffs!
Lootas & looted kit are from Da Deffskullz, Shokks from Bad Moonz and Grot herds? Snakebites.
No sense of history GW these days.
I trust you'll scrounge lots of Imperial Weaponary and kit to represent the way BAs fraternise with and immitate The Imperium!

Blood Axes are known for using Grots, and the trukks are not looted, per se, but traded from certain 'onest Imperial Nobles.
