Would anyone be interested in joining in a just for fun Blood Bowl pub league?
The rules are simple:
1. All teams use human stats and costs.
2. Total money available 750,000. (In pub leagues the gold pieces represents the level of commitment to the team rather than the actual coinage - most pub owners would retire if they had that kind of money)
3. Maximum number of players = 14
4. May hire 0-14 linemen.
5. May only hire 0-2 players from other human positions e.g. Blitzer, Thrower, Catcher.
6. No wizards, monsters or star players.
7. Can only choose from random events for special play cards.
8. All linemen start with niggling injuries. (this represents the unreliable nature of amateurs: "I'm working", "I've got a hangover", "I've forgot my kit", etc)
9. No deaths, the players don't die in pub leagues; the landlords would be losing their most valued patrons, treat any dead results as serious injuries.
