Open War X
-Will be held on the 18th October at Warhammer World and run by the 1st Company Veterans.
-The £15 Tickets go on sale from 11th August for the 40k, WFB, Epic, Bloodbowl and Warhammer Ancients gaming systems.

13th Black Crusade
-40k campaign weekend held on the 6th-7th September at Warhammer World.
-Prices for the entire weekend are £50 and include entry, 5 games and 2 meals.

Warhammer Fantasy Battle Karnage Cup
-Sign-up sheet is now available for entries on the club notice board and forum.

Games Day
-The club is considering hiring a minibus for the volunteers going to help out.
-The club is considering hiring an oversize minibus if there are enough people interested in going with us (as regular attendees).
-If you have not yet bought a ticket or have already bought a ticket but do not have any transport, please contact a member of the exec to note your interest.

Bloodbowl Competition
-A Bloodbowl 7's competition will be held at the Lincoln branch of Games Wrokshop on Saturday the 9th August.
-Anybody interested in winning some prizes pop into the shop or collar Adam at the club.

Karnage Cup
-The Warhammer Fantasy battle Sign-up sheet is on the notice board as well as a post on the website.
-Find Pete for more info

"Lay-away" scheme
-Anybody interested in putting away a small amount each week in order to attend next years Club Challenge can still do so at the shop whenever you have some change to add.

Fantasy Football
-The new season's Fantasy Football league will be up and runnign soon.
-Anybody interested can talk to Andy Dodd

Domestic

Magic The Gathering
-Sanctioned tournements can now be run each week as long as the minimum number of 8 players are competing.
-A sealed booster tournement is scheduled for 21st August.

Gamesday 2008
-As part of the club's involvment in the Gamesday event, we will be hiring a mini-bus to take the volunteers to and from the event.
-We will be able to offer other club members a lift to and from gamesday for just £5. Please find a club exec member for more details.

40K Karnage cup
-Details/rules an the sign-up sheet is on the notice board and on the forum.

-Places are slim pickings for 40k whilst the other systems are still available.

-Can members please help out our Exec member Big James (Caretaker) by making sure that you put back as many of the items you used as is possible over the course of the night. For the last several weeks he has been at the club well into the night just tidying up after everyone.

James Casely - Events co-ordinator, will be available next week to chat about member ideas for Club events for the coming year. You got an idea for an event, James will be there to listen.

The Exec have set a few aims for the Club over the coming year, which will be posted on the notice board for next week.

PLEASE put your terrain away in the boxes provided once you have finished your games. Being able to put the lid on the box is also a good sign! Thank you.

The winner of the WHFB Karnage Kup for 2008, retaining his title form last year, is Andy Thompson. Well done Andy.

Please make best efforts to pay BEFORE you start to play on Club nights! Without the entry money we cannot function, no money = no Hall!
