Finsihed my first 5 assault marines and a character.

On no Space Marines that are going to Teach us to death

I have assembled the Assault on Black Reach Marines.



I have converted the White Dwarf Free Terminator to carry and assault cannon (obviously a Tau burst cannon, but you get the idea and if anyone wants to do the same I have a couple of spare burst cannons)



I have also head swapped and back banner mounted a marine in the tactical squad (brother corporal Scales) to act as a detachment leader when the 10 man squad breaks down into 5s. Just a bit of fluff conversion with no impact. I swapped the chainsword on the Vet sergeant for a powersword, hoping that will add a bit more effectiveness in the assault phase.

BTW I do like the assault cannons.

No need for any weapons, as I am using assault cannons only.

1500 points are assembled and undercoated. Their first outing is on Thursday against Mr Caseley. Catch up on their progress then, you may be suprised. (although I am not as fast as I used to be I am getting through them at a fair pace)
