Scenery : Please be careful packing the scenery into the the cupboard of the RPG room. If the scenery is not found in that cupboard, it belongs in a box, then should be put into the "under the stairs" cupboard.
Gobstyks Merchandise Money: All members that ordered t-shirts/polo shirts/ merchandise are reminded that a deadline for payment has been set for the end of the month.
If your interested in paintballing, please let Si know

James (Caretaker):
- From the request of the church, the doors for the club will not open before 5:45 due to security issues.
- Anyone who spills food or drink on the floor must clean up after themselves. This is a Health & Safety issue as much as a hygene issue. If the church feel that we are not keeping the hall clean enough, they may tell us we cannot have the tuck shop at all.
Will:
- Anybody interested in running a Fantasy gaming table on the 26th April at GW Lenton (Warhammer World) see Will
- The new forum (this one) will hopefully be replaced by another new forum. However, this will not affect anybody or anything as all profiles, posts and stuff will be transfered over with no discernable difference.
Steve:
- Golden Squig Painting Competition! Entries to be in by 7pm and no later. Competitors will need to fill out a application form for each entry before this time (Forms available on the night).
Volunteers requested for the Till rota again!
On a lighter note, Adam actually won a 40k game with his grot army! (I could also mention it was against Mike (voted the beardiest player at the 2007 awards), but that would be mean ) _________________ (\_/)

Fantasy Campaign:
Can all participating members of the fantasy campaign please bring their armies for the next phase.
Club Tutorials:
Thursday 5th June will see a trial ‘Club Tutorial’. Where by a member who feels they can help others with their knowledge of a gaming system / specific army will hold a tutorial/lecture session.
The first of these sessions will be held by Pete Delafield on Skaven for Warhammer Fantasy. If the event is a success, then other tutorials will be arranged by members brave enough to have a go.
Definitive Games:
Chris is finally an authorised Independent Games Workshop Seller. As such he has offered club members the following deals:
- Pre-order of the new 40k rule book for £25 (£5 discount)
- All Gobstyks members will receive a standard 15% discount on all GW standard prices.
Bring-&-Battle tournament:
Saturday 21st June has been provisionally booked for a Bring-&-Battle tournament. A simple system based on getting as many people playing different systems as possible.
Although the rules still need finalising, they are as follows:
-Standard £2 entry (£2 for 8 hours of gaming!)
-Bring as many gaming systems along as possible that you play with.
-Play 4 games in timed slots (more games can obviously be played but only 4 will count)
-These games can be played in any gaming system as long as there is someone to play
-3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 for a loss.
-Overall winner will win a prize, with additional prize going to person with most points over most gaming systems (rules regarding a draw after all the games have been played TBA)
-For each gaming system played each competitor will receive a raffle ticket (i.e. if you only play 1 system for all 4 games you only get 1 ticket).
Numbers will have to be high in order for the event to go ahead. Unfortunately these events do cost a pretty penny and if we do not have the high enough level of entry then it won’t happen. Announcement on 29/05/08 will be a deadline for the decision to go ahead. _________________ (\_/)
