I'm still waiting on something else to see if I can come - if I can, I will.

Well I've got my ticket, I just hope the Open War judges approve of my Mechanicus Daemons if not I may have to use the grots.

Can anyone give me a lift there? I thought I'd better ask now considering what happened last time.

Also anyone else going in fancy dress? :D

Don't know who else is going at the moment?

As for fancy dress, dunno, I was considering something simple like Wolverine, but it depends on money and time nearer to the time.

I have had a request on the Warhammer Forum for a few players who are looking for ateam. I have offered them places on our team.

I am assuming no-one has a problem with this?

Well, quite a bit.
Mike was originally placed 15th in the "Kids' Game", but saw they'd diddled him out of 20 points, so wound up 4th.
Threeof our mercenaries finnished 3rd, 6th & 15th.
Adam picked up 24th and an invite from GW to have some of his models displayed there.
Tony got 35th, Pip a miserable & pathetic 42nd and another merc 45th (50 entrants)
Down on the mens' game, I was Best Gobstykian with a ,magnificent 11th after kicking Vampyric butt in game 3.
Tim 13th, after suffering like a dog at the hands of a Demon army (Sorry I laughed when you rolled a 10 for that Fear test  )and another merc, silly sod played Orges, 19th (24 entrants)
We were given 4th placed club, likely to be 3rd or maybe 2nd once they factor in Mike's true position (Doggy?)

I will add to Adam's post that Tony was also asked about displaying his models and Adam C won a nice trophy for best converted army.

I had to use my Eldar because of a printer malfunction and the lack of a word-processed list. O'shovah next time I hope.

I played the Deathwing list in the last game.

He had:

Belial with Lightning Claws

A Terminator Librarian

A Venerable Dreadnought (Assault Cannon and Heavy Flamer) in a Drop Pod

5 Terminator units (a pair of Lightning Claws in each, three with Assault Cannons and two Cyclones) One unit had a Thunder hammer Sergeant and an Apothecary.

I was concerned at first because I'm not too good at dealing with 2+ saves but if you force enough then Terminators soon start dropping like flies. My Fire Prisms also come into their own against tight clusters of freshly teleported Termis.

He gave up on turn four...

And I played him in the first game, on table 1.

Turn 4, he was all ready to concede, and on the fifth turn, he had got a massacre win. That pretty much tells the tale of my luck all day.
