Having won a "Kazad Guard" box set in the Christmas raffle (3 years ago!) I have now been very foolish and gone and bought a box set of plastic Dwarf warriors and a "Command" blister.

I took the opportunity to browse the LotR collected army lists book before my purchase at WHW and saw that the above combined quite nicely to make a solid 500pts force.
I will not be including the Standard or 2 of the Kazad Guard.

Roughly from memory this is:

King dude
Captain chap
12 Warriors with stuff
12 Warriors with other stuff
6 Kazad Guard
500pts

So the task begins.
Phase 1: Buy the models - Completed 15feb2008
Phase 2: Assemble the models - Completed 23feb2008
Phase 3: Paint the models - Base colours and wash completed 01mar2008
Phase 3b: Highlighting of armour and some detailing done (04Mar2008)
Phase 4: Base the models
Phase 5: Learn to play LotR...lol (Demo game down the shop!)
Phase 6: Talk someone else into buying some LotRs models!

I don't know, I nearly bought a Moria force last summer.

If Will's force looks cool and small enough to be easy to buy, you never know.

Dunno, I am about half way through painting my LotR force. Might give me some incentive to finish them.

Why? what's wrong with the LotR game? Both myself and Jonathan have a considerable number of models and quite enjoy playing it.
