For anyone interested.
Games of 40K will be either 1500 or 1750 depending on player agreement. If no agreement is reached, play 1625 points.
Games of WFB will be either 2000 or 2500 depending on player agreement. If no agreement is reached, play 2250 points.
Players on the bottom rung may challenge anyone above them.
Players winning a game get a challenge token.
Players on other rungs may only challenge a player above them when they have a challenge token.
If you beat a player above you, you take their slot and they take yours.
Each month one random player from each rung is moved down a row, if they have not played any games that month.
If the player at the top is beaten, they are moved to the bottom row. (To prevent the top three stagnating.
You may challenge someone in the row behind you in order to try and gain a challenge token. You risk losing and falling a row.
If free slots become available due to the above rules, a random player with a challenge token will be moved up to fill the gap.
If players wish to join a full board, each month the players on the bottom rung are checked to see if they are playing. If they are not, then they are swapped out for those wishing to join.
40K scenarios and set up are chosen at random.
WFB use pitched battle, with the option of special terrian as detailed in the rule book if both players agree.

Definitely 40k, if you're allowing unpainted armies for Fantasy then i'll have a go at that too.

Just normal club gaming rules.
No prerequisite for painting, not even as a tie break

Please could you put me down for the Fantasy one?
Are players allowed to refuse challenges? And if so is there any penalty for doing so?

A refused challenge is the same as a defeat.
However, a challenge may be deffered if you have already organised a game, and the result of that game may make the challenge inelligible (e.g. if the players are now two rungs apart, or on the same rung)

When are you planning to start this? I would like to enter both though only being able to attend every other week may not allow this. Put me down for the 40k one and pencil me in provisionally for the Fantasy.
