Have you been able to access the army lists for the Crisis in Marienburg Campaign Warhammer-empire are running?
I would like to play a game next week if possible. Are you up for it?

I've got a game arranged this week, but I am up for the campaign and it will be Empire I'll be playing for the next few weeks anyway.

So yes, I'll be fielding the Grand Army of Talabhiem for the campaign. So I'll have to register etc. in due course.

Cheers,

Pete

Neil, can you give me the name of your general and his nationality, along with the majority nationality for your army?
I am assuming Tilean being DoW but I could be wrong. I'm going to work on some fluff for the campaign web site.

Graham your generals name and any other persons of note would be handy as well.

Yes my army will be led by a Tilean - Generale Alfredo Di Stefani, a professional soldier who has been in the employ of King Alfonso III of Luccini (see list of rulers in the armylists pdf) for the past 31 years, and the army will be composed mostly of Tileans.

Should we think about moving this thread to the campaigns area?

Your wish is my command.

How does one register on the site. I can find loads of background material on the links provided, but nowhere to register my army or record results of games ets.

Or I am I missing something.

Needless to say, my army will be Talabhiem, but I am yet to decide on the general. Probably a Grand Master of the 1st Talabhiem Guard, Lord Karl Dieterson.

Cheers,

Pete

Well, I've registered using my usual logon name. (Having my skaven general as my user name being slightly dodgy in an Empire forum, but never mind)

I'll be putting together a list to use over the course of the next few weeks. Do we need to work out a schedule?

What are your user names on the Empire forum?

I have registered as The Duchess, the name of my Griffon riding, treasure seeking, merchant prince from Marienburg.

Pete, I noticed you had registered as last time I was on the campaign forum it listed a certain periculosus as the newest registered member.

This week me and Neil are playing Grahams Middenlanders. Can we arrange a game against you on the 1st Thursday after our trip to Germany. We could also get a game in prior to that as I do not go back to work until the Friday which gives us Monday (probably not as we will only just have arrived home) Tuesday and Wednesday to get a game in at yours or my place.

Andy T has taken the Sigmarite list home as he thinks he can make an army, proxying if necessary, from that.

I have obtained a map of our starting territories which I shall bring this week if you have not already seen it. There has been much discussion on the Marienburger forum already about tactics, battle plans, diplomatic missions, with some members really getting into the whole thing, myself included, such that I have put my name in the ring for consideration in the post of overall commander of the Eastern front. I am as yet un-opposed as no one else seems to want to take on the responsability. Not that it matters that much. I can say I think we need to concentrate our battles in location X and people are still going to do what they twant, but the high profile position may give my commander a mention in some of the background write ups :P

What's happening over at the Free Traders?

Neil have you registered?

A little bit of chat and plenty of background fluff written. All very interesting. People putting themselves up for various roles within the faction.

Good stuff.

I'll be bringing my Empire along on Thursday, and hopefully we can play a couple of games when you are off work. Maybe even get Neil, Andy or Graham over too?

Cheers,

Pete

Worth an ask, but I bet they are working

Neil someone on the campaign forum has said you have until 12 noon on Thursday to register. At the moment the Marienberg Alliance has no Tilean armies :(
We have Marienbeurgers, Averlanders, even Orcs  but no Tileans. Your arival will be met with much rejoycing :P

Pete, I was wondering if you are able to let me know what the mood is in your camp toward a diplomatic treaty being offered by our side.
I know our Marienburgers are actively courting a peace treaty with you Free Traders, but I have my reservations. I have pointed out that I am certain to be fighting games against you and which will be nigh impossible to pass off as battles against say the Sigmarites given the background and context the games will be played in. So whilst a peace treaty may be a very wise Campaign move it will make life very awkward when we come to post results against each other.
I know If I win I will certainly be crowing about the defeat of your general in the battle report
So whats the likleyhood peace between our factions will break out before a single battle has been fought? :?

Neil, have you registered yet?

Also Graham, if you ever read this post before Noon on Thursday, you should register too. I think you will get more from the games if you do.

Yes, the peace treaty.

Our faction are a little dubious of it, I think we have to wait and see what the powers that be in my faction decide.

However, my general will kick your general's backside all the way from Talabhiem to Aldorf and back again reguardless of any treaty. The personal grudge being too good an opportunity to pass up.
