Squad 1 (10 men)
- Melta gun
- Missile launcher
- Power fist
In rhino
Squad 2 (10 men)

- Power fist
In rhino
Squad 3 (10 men)
- Plasma gun
- Lascannon
In rhino
Squad 4 (10 men)
- Plasma gun
- Missile launcher
In rhino
Dreadnaught
- Default kit
Dreadnaught
- Default kit
- Extra armour
Dreadnaught
- Assault cannon
Predator
- Lascannon sponsons
Any thoughts?

Interesting list, the Tacticals are okay, Dreadnoughts are okay, the Predator is okay, the army is Okay. Nothing in the list is overly effective/powerful(or imbalanced as the WHFB players call it) Such as Hestan+many meltas, termies+redeemers, outflanking bikers, special character builds in general, sternguard, techmarine, fortress thing and so on.
If you want to play happy balanced army vs balanced army games then yeah it will do fine but if you want to beat a decent army such as Gareths Tri-Redeemer or Mikes Seer Council then you may have problems
But yeah the list is okay, best of luck with it!
Thanks,
Lee

I have to agree with Lee.
I would find it better if you dropped (pun intended) all the Rhinos, and maybe the Predator, and give every unit a drop pod.
Now, I'm aware that mnoney could be a factor in this, but they are the same cost and price as a Rhino, but better armour and damned annoying. I would also try and find the points (probaby by stripping the Lacannons) to give each sergeant a combi-melta.

I've ordered the bits I need to change my ten termies into asault terminators, so I'm thinking drop the three dreads and two of the rhinos, and take two squads of hammering terminators. Could switch the tac squad stuff around a little too.

You need Land Raiders to go with Termies or they just get shot to bits, it's all well and good taking 2xbig units but enough armour saves and they fall with the armour 14 transport they go straight to combat, without being shot at essentially.
As for your game vs Mike, your tactics were all wrong and his were pretty much spot on which is why you got comprehensively beaten that game it was nothing to do with not having to position your units correctly or Fantasy being better because blabla. What you did was run into the Meat grinder, which is never a good thing....it's like charging a unit of clanrats straight into the front of a unit of chaos chosen without support, you just wouldn't do it. What you should of done it sat back, picked him off and maybe tried to get a vehicle on his objective towards the end of the game when he was out of position....but you ran into his Meatgrinder and thus paid the price, it was quite an enjoyable game to watch though and im sure you learned alot from it.
Thanks,
Lee
